Everyone’s physical strength, health and life depend on digestion. It is necessary to provide proper dietary fuel to continue the work of digestion. This diet depends on the overall nutrition of the body, the strength of the body, the character of the body, the strength of the mind and the satisfaction of all the senses. In Ayurveda, three stages are described according to the diet of the child.
Stage I –
Kshirad (milk stage) – In this stage the baby depends only on milk especially on breast milk. This condition is considered to last from birth to one year.
Stage II –

Stage III –
Annad stagev(only food stage) – The period from two years to sixteen years is called Annad stage. Children at this age have a change in eating tastes and habits.
