The water evaporates in the cooker and condenses. Generates very high vapour pressure on food inside cooker. As a result, the food substance breaks down and boils. It becomes soft and you feel like the food is cooked. In fact, the food is not fully cooked.

Let’s see why it is important to cook properly.

From pulses, cereals, rice, various vegetables, wheat, sorghum, etc., you get protein, starchy foods, fats, various minerals and vitamins. Properly cooked food is digested properly and easily by the body.

Food does not cook completely in a pressure cooker. It also destroys the nutrients in it. Since the food is incompletely cooked, it puts pressure on the body to digest it. Digestion is reduced. Therefore, in the future, diabetes, asthma, obesity, frequent coughing, lack of vitamins and minerals, etc. Various diseases occur.

When Dr. Rajivbhai told his diabetic patients to eat food cooked in a clay pot without using a pressure cooker, their blood sugar became balanced in 7-8 months.

In the past, all meals were made in clay – iron – brass etc. The food used to cook perfectly in these pots. There was no pressure cooker. That is why there was less disease in the previous generation.

They are given vitamin tablets, protein powders etc. through the food cooked in these different metal pots. There was no need to take them additionally. Their physical and mental efficiency was many times higher than ours.

Understand the important laws of nature.

The longer it takes for a substance to form in nature, the longer it takes to cook it. Any grains, vegetables, fruits, pulses are formed by absorbing various nutrients from the soil.

Each component takes a certain amount of time to complete. E.g. Chickpeas takes more time to form and as a result it takes more time to cook.

Cooking food in a cooker does not give you complete nutrition. The food is forcibly cooked. It looks like a sack that encloses with a drawstring. But in reality the nutrients in that food are destroyed.

It is as if a pressure cooker really puts pressure on a nutrient-rich substance by nature and destroys the vital elements in it. Incomplete cooking also puts a strain on your digestive system and can lead to various ailments in the near future.

Nature still provides us plenty today, but the wrong way we prepare food doesn’t allow us to benefit from it properly.

“अन्न हे पूर्णब्रह्म!”(food is as divine as god)  That’s what we say.

We have to be aware of complete and proper nourishment and development of our children. We work so hard and make everything available to children. This will only be worth if we provide proper nutrients to our children.
